Guys with Ties does a hell of a job combining two great concepts, throwing great parties and helping the community. That is the main reason I personally have volunteered to help the cause. My volunteer work? Show up to One80 (Downtown Orlando in the Amway Center) June 14th at 8pm and donate $15.00.

I rounded up a few friends and headed out to Johnny's Filling Station (an Orlando burger bar staple) and the new Johnny's Other Side, a fresher take on your typical pub fare. I've eaten at Johnny's in years past and it's great to see something that was always done well... done even better.

We have been checking out the festivities brewing at Senor Frogs (8747 International Drive. ) over the past few months and it is safe to say there is nothing like it in town. Boasting as a family atmosphere restaurant by day and early evening, I tend to only make it once the conga line has gone into full affect and the only drink size I care for is by the yard. Mmmm yards. I can literally measure by black out in distance.

We have had the pleasure of meeting tons of cool people around town through our journey to find "Everything Worth Doing". From lawyers doing good to tattoo artists doing... tattoos. With that being said this is the first segment we call "Local Spotlight". We are kicking it off with one of Orlando's most excellent tattoo artist. Why? It's the holidays and skin art is all the rage. Let's dig in...

Every year I get excited to post about Senso's Anniversary party. This is a venue that has stood up for it's beliefs in dance music for years. I am a sell out. I admit it (just ask our Tiny Taster.. it drives her nuts). That being said, Nicholas (owner of Senso) is who I have to thank for being able to experience AVICII, Laidback Luke, Carl Cox, and so many more amazing artists for the first time. In a setting with only 200 people it's easy to think "oh this is just normal dj" ... I thought that too. Then AVICII became one of the most talked about artist in 2011.. I became a believer.

The holidays are a great time to celebrate with friends and family. We all have a kid in us and for me, this is the time of year where I shed some of my tough exterior and genuinely smile.
