Pine 22 is a gourmet burger restaurant located Downtown (Orlando) on Pine St ( close to the orange ave intersection). This review came from necessity. I have never eaten a turkey burger this good.So good I came back... and back again. The variety of toppings, buns, burger meats, and sides are just enough to let you have a new burger experience each time you come or provide that perfect combination you may never change. They boast " we have over 322,000 ways to make your burger" on their Facebook page and that is just insane.
Your first experience at Pine Twenty 2 might be a little intimidating. Your greeted by a large sign and clipboards with a choose-your-creation style burger menu attached. Take a deep breath and review the options. I have already settled into a rythm.
My perfect burger is as follows (using Pine 22's handy chart)
Step #1 - Choose a Burger
- We go for the Turkey Burger. It is juicy and delicious. A very hard combination to find.
Step #2 - Choose a Bun
- Multigrain Bun ( also check out the IN a Bowl option)
Step #3 - Choose a Cheese
- Herb Goat Cheese Spread.
Step # 4- Choose a Sauce
-You must try the Basil Pesto. It adds such a great flavor to the turkey burger. Another close second is the Roasted Garlic Aioli (not for calorie counters lol)
Step #5 - Choose up to Four (4) Toppings
- I try to keep it simple. Charred onions and tomatoes. You have the options to enjoy up to four.
"Pine 22 is all about burgers, Bordeaux, BBQ, half bottles of wine and beer… We have over 322,000 ways to make your burger. Ours is angus beef, turkey, pulled pork and black bean burgers. All are grass fed, 100% natural, antibiotic, hormone, and chemical free. Everything is locally grown and sourced when possible.
We have 10 choices in cheeses, 6 buns plus over 30 other toppings to create an ultimate burger experience. In addition to being organic, you can get out the door for under $10 and have a fabulous healthy meal."
