The New Year came and went, college kids are flooding back into Orlando in masses, and it's time to reboot. The Lights Out Festival is a an audio and visual senses-gasm. Over 4,000 people are expected to attend this Friday rager. Talent includes a DJ set by the infamous Lil John, Paper Diamond,  Bl3nd, Brass Knuckles, a few others and local support. Enjoy the sights and smells of nature to the audible backdrop of one of the best small music festival lineups we have seen in some time. You can bring any (reasonably sized) container and have it filled with ice cold Miller Lite from 6:00 - 11:00pm for only only $15.00! This promotion is a really great way to unwind after the work week. Big Belly also continues it's $1 Burgers until 9:00pm. For $20 you can have a burger, drink a gallon  of delicious ice cold beer, and still leaver your bartender with a fair tip. How can you not love Downtown Orlando events.

If you haven't experienced One80 Grey Goose Lounge (located in the Amway Center) you should. There is not to much else to say about it. Since opening, One80 has helped in redefining Downtown Orlando by offering a unique big city lounge experience. The venue is open at night even when the Amway is not hosting an event. The Jersey Shore has been a conversation topic for every person in the U.S. at some point over the past few years. Whether you love it or hate it the fact remains that the cast has a gift for being a group of people that can get people talking. Pauly D used his previous DJ talent and paired it with his tv show's success to launch a massive DJ career. He has been touring all over the world and was recently added to the Brittany Spears Tour (featuring Nikki Manaj) for August and September.

Kush is a very unorthodox venue. It is located inside Kathmandu, Downtown Orlando's only smoke/head shop on Court (next to Cleo's/Vain between Pine and Central). To gain access to the Kush hooka lounge you need a security code (which they happily provide) and walk up a flight of stairs. The entry experience is pretty friggin cool to be honest. The place is really comfortable and relaxing. The space is all white  with LED lighting that makes the small 20 person hooka lounge change a variety of colors.

Orlando is always getting some of the best DJs, rock bands, hip hop acts, and pop stars on a regular basis. There are a number of reasons as to why that is.
